Towards an understanding of Parent Spectator Behaviour at Youth Sport Events

Watching a child compete in youth sports can be an extremely stressful experience for parents.  The emotional bond between parent and child, along with the stress of competition may partially explain why some parents behave in inappropriate ways during youth sports events.
